Climate control
Indoor storage units: Yes. The storage facility's building is heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer.
Outdoor storage units: No. Equivalent to storing your belongings in an outdoor garage.
Portable storage unit: No. But the solid steel construction and tight seal provide great protection against humidity and sudden changes in temperature.
Transportation
Indoor storage units: Free Move into Storage (courtesy truck & driver)
Outdoor storage units: Free Move into Storage (courtesy truck & driver)
Portable storage unit: We drop off the mobile storage unit (along with the trailer), and pick it back up the next day. Or you can keep it for longer by arrangement — ask for a quote.
Comparative cost
Indoor storage units: Great everyday prices on our main floor storage units. Upper floor storage units are even more affordable: about 20% lower, equal to outdoor units of the same size.
Outdoor storage units: About 20% lower than main floor indoor units of the same size.
Portable storage unit: The storage unit itself is $49 more per month than a main floor storage room of equivalent size. Trucking fees also apply, according to distance.
